COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State got back in the win column on Saturday with a 36-31 victory over Nebraska after suffering a horrific loss at Purdue just two weeks prior.
Despite the game only being a noon kick, the Buckeyes pulled out all the stops for their “Blackout” game vs. the Cornhuskers.
Here are some of the sights and sounds from Ohio State’s victory:
It was a gorgeous day at Ohio Stadium for Ohio State’s first home game in three weeks as there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
Ohio State may not have held a night game this season but that didn’t stop them from wearing alternate black uniforms for their bout against Nebraska.
Recently injured wide receiver Austin Mack was on the field before the game on Saturday with the help of a scooter.
Saturday was also a big recruiting day for the Buckeyes as 2019 five-star defensive end Zach Harrison from Olentangy Orange was in attendance for the Buckeyes game on Saturday. Harrison is currently weighing his decision between Ohio State, Michigan and Alabama.
Ohio State men’s basketball players C.J. Jackson and Joey Lane were spotted on the sidelines as well before the game as the team opens the regular season on Wednesday at Cincinnati.
Ohio State took the field with members of the military proudly touting the American flag.
Ohio State continued to show their support of the military as they had a flyover during the national anthem.
As for the game itself, there were a couple moments where the coaching staff looked, let’s say, frustrated.
One thing that the team was very happy about was the run game, which you can see here as J.K. Dobbins ran it in for his third touchdown of the game.
As has been tradition at Ohio State for many years now, the team sang Carmen Ohio following their 36-31 victory over Nebraska.

Ohio State will now head to Michigan State this Saturday, November 10th to take on the Spartans. Kickoff has been announced as noon ET and the game will be televised on FOX.
