No. 10 Ohio State travels to Maryland this coming Saturday, November 17th to take on the Terrapins and a kickoff time and broadcasting details have officially been announced.
Ohio State and Maryland will kick off at noon ET this Saturday in College Park and ABC will be televising the game.
This will mark Ohio State’s third straight noon kickoff following games vs. Nebraska and at Michigan State that both started at noon as well.
Ohio State will now officially close out the season with four consecutive noon games as The Game between Ohio State and Michigan next Saturday, November 24th had already been announced as a noon kickoff before the start of the season, as has been tradition for the past several years of the series now.
As far as the series between Ohio State and Maryland, the Buckeyes have won all four contents against the Terps since they joined the Big Ten Conference in the 2014 season.
Ohio State has scored at least 49 points in each of their four matchups with Maryland in the past four seasons while scoring 62 points in each of the past two games in 2016 and 2017. That history should be encouraging for Buckeye fans who feel that the offense hasn’t been living up to it’s full potential for the past few games.
This will be the final test for Ohio State before they return home the following week to face Michigan, which will be the game that will determine which of those two teams will head to the Big Ten Championship to face Northwestern should the Buckeyes be able to win this weekend in College Park. If the Buckeyes were somehow to falter and lose this coming weekend on the road, Michigan would clinch the Big Ten East before the two teams face each other.
