It’s officially official.
Dwayne Haskins has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft as the Heisman finalist quarterback for the Buckeyes took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to make his decision made public.
The redshirt sophomore QB threw for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns in his lone season as a starter for the Buckeyes, both of which are single-season Ohio State and Big Ten records.
Haskins’ stellar season earned him a trip to New York as a Heisman finalist as he finished third in the voting behind Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray and Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa.
Haskins is unanimously expected to be the first quarterback taken in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft.
